About Survive a Million Monkeys
Survive a Million Monkeys is a co-op horde survival shooter on Roblox from the group gorilla warfare. Each match drops you on an island with a basic pistol and an endless stream of monkeys. The goal is simply to last as long as you can: the waves keep growing, and every run eventually ends.
Defeating monkeys earns Cash, a temporary currency that only lasts for the current run. You spend it on the spot to raise your weapon by a tier, add health, throw grenades, or place barricades. New monkey types appear the longer you survive, from bigger brutes to red exploding monkeys, and later types are tougher.
You can team up with up to three other players. A run ends when the whole team is down, and each player is rewarded for their own contribution. A Hardcore mode makes the waves harder still. The first major update, Blasting Off, added new monkey variants, explosive banana attacks, and more firearms and melee weapons.
What Gems Are For
Gems are the permanent currency. You earn them at the end of every run, based on how many monkeys and waves you cleared, and codes add more on top. In the hub, Gems unlock new weapons in all four tiers, unlock classes, and upgrade each class skill, with every upgrade costing more than the one before.

Weapons are split into four tiers: handguns in Tier 1, shotguns and other mid-range guns in Tier 2, assault rifles in Tier 3, and heavy weapons in Tier 4. Each Gem unlock beats the default weapon of its tier.
How to Redeem Survive a Million Monkeys Codes
- Launch the game on Roblox and finish the short tutorial. The Codes button stays hidden until you do.
- In the lobby, click Codes in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Paste a code exactly as written. Copying it from the list above keeps the capital letters right.
- Press the green checkmark to claim the reward.
If a brand-new code is rejected, leave and join a new server so you are on the latest version of the game, then try again.

Gameplay Tips
Unlock high-tier weapons first
You spend only a short time on the handgun tier, so Gems go further on Tier 3 and Tier 4 weapons. The sooner you reach Tier 4 in a run, the easier the later waves become.
Keep moving in later waves
By around wave 20, the crowds are dense enough that running and shooting works better than holding one spot.
Save your ultimate
Your ultimate charges from kills rather than Cash, with one use for every 100 monkeys defeated. Keep it for the moments that would otherwise overwhelm you.
Learn the controls
On PC, V upgrades your weapon, C upgrades your health, G and X use your class skills (grenade and barricade for Survivor), and Q fires your ultimate.
Build a balanced squad
When playing in a group, mix roles so the team covers each other: a Medic for healing, an Engineer for turrets, and a Juggernaut to absorb pressure.
Claim the free gift early
The lobby gift box gives an SMG and 1,000 Gems. Together with codes, it is an easy head start toward your first weapon unlock.
