How to Redeem Roblox Game Codes

Most Roblox experiences that hand out codes use the same basic flow. The exact button and its position differ from game to game, so each game page on this site lists that game's own steps.

  1. Open the game on Roblox and wait until you reach the lobby or main area. Some games keep the codes menu hidden until you finish the tutorial or the first quest.
  2. Look for a button labeled Codes or Redeem, or a gift or ticket icon. It usually sits at the edge of the screen or inside a menu such as Settings or Shop.
  3. Copy a code from this site with its copy button and paste it into the text box, so the spelling and capital letters stay exactly the same.
  4. Press the confirm or redeem button. Most games show a short message when a code works; if you are not sure, check your currency or inventory.
  5. Redeem one code at a time, and read any error message before trying the next one. It usually tells you whether the code is wrong, used, or expired.

How to Spot Fake Codes and Scams

Real game codes are short words or phrases that you type into the game itself. Redeeming one never requires anything else from you, so be careful with any page or message that asks for more.

Requests for your password

No real code needs your Roblox password, your email login, or a 2-step verification code. Game developers and Roblox staff will not ask for them on a code site, in a direct message, or in game chat. Anyone who does is trying to take over your account.

"Free Robux" generators

No website, app, or script can generate Robux. Pages that promise free Robux, often after a so-called human verification survey, are scams that collect your personal data or your login.

Downloads and browser extensions

You never need to install anything to redeem a code. Files, browser extensions, or "code unlocker" programs can contain malware or steal your logged-in session.

Codes from unknown sources

Treat codes posted in comments, random direct messages, or videos with no clear source as unconfirmed. Check the game's official Roblox page or group before trusting them.

Roblox-wide promo codes and gift cards are redeemed on Roblox's own website or app, never on a third-party page. If something feels off, close the page and do not enter any details.

How We Verify Game Codes

Every code on this site is checked by hand. For each game we compare the official Roblox game page with several well-known code sites, and we note when each source was last updated.

  • A code is marked active only when the official game page lists it, or when at least two recent sources agree that it works.
  • A code that only one source reports is held back until a second source confirms it.
  • A code moves to the expired list when trusted sources report it as expired.
  • Every code shows the date we last checked it, and each list shows when it was last updated.

We cannot test every code on every account, and codes can expire between checks, so we do not promise a fixed update schedule. Use the last-checked date on each list to judge how fresh it is.

Why a Code Stops Working

It expired

Developers often retire codes after an update or once a milestone has passed. An expired code cannot be brought back, no matter how it is typed.

A typo or the wrong capitals

Many games treat codes as case-sensitive, and a single extra space can break them. Copy and paste instead of typing by hand.

Already used on your account

Most codes work once per Roblox account. Trying the same code again on that account gives an error.

Your server is out of date

A new code may only work on servers running the latest update. Leave and join a new server, or restart the game, and try again.

A requirement is not met

Some games only open the codes menu after the tutorial or the first quest, and some codes need a minimum level or membership in the game's Roblox group.
